Kathmandu, May 31 -- The Nepal Golf Association (NGA) has announced the 11th edition of the Nepal Amateur Open Golf Championship, the country's flagship amateur golf tournament, from June 3 to 5, at the par-72 Gokarna Forest Resort Golf Course.
The 54-hole stroke play competition will take place over three days, featuring top amateur golfers not only from Nepal but across South Asia. "There will be participants from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka as well," said NGA General Secretary Deepak Acharya at a press conference in Kathmandu on Friday.
The championship includes both individual and team formats in men's section.
