Bharatpur, March 3 -- The book 'Kaalsanga Kusti', capturing Captain Ash Bahadur Gurung's military career and battle against stage-four prostate cancer in his 80s, was launched in Bharatpur on Saturday.

Authored by the former UN Communication Specialist and media educator Chun Bahadur Gurung, the book narrates Ash's experiences as a soldier who served in the British Army for nearly three decades, fought in the jungle of the Indonesia-Malaysia border, trained in the US, and later worked in the UK and Brunei.

The biography has eight chapters, each including relevant references and photographs capturing Ash's early life, livelihood, struggles, and triumphs.
