Rajesh battled for life for nearly two months in the Emergency Medicine ICU of JK Hospital. Notably, his entire treatment was provided free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
According to family members, on *20 November 2025, after completing his duty in **Karimnagar, Telangana*, Rajesh allegedly consumed illicit liquor suspected to be mixed with methanol.
