JAMMU, Sept. 23 -- BJP Spokesperson for J&K UT, Gaurav Gupta, hailed the strong endorsement from United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his spokesperson Stephane Dujarric on the urgent need to reform the UN Security Council, recognising India as a pivotal force in the multilateral system.
Speaking on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric categorically stated "India is a very important part of the UN system. They are a great supporter of multilateralism. The Secretary General has very good relations with the Indian government. We have a lot of Indian colleagues who work here with us. India is an important voice within the UN system."
