Jammu, April 17 -- The Environment Unit of MIER College of Education celebrated World Earth Day on April 16, 2025 with a vibrant and inspiring Eco-Friendly Art Projects/Recycled Art Competition under the theme "Planet vs Plastics." The initiative aimed to raise awareness about plastic pollution and encourage sustainable practices through artistic expression. Open to students from the School of Education (SOE) and the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSSH), the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 30 students who showcased their creativity and environmental consciousness through models, collages, paintings, charts, and sculptures made entirely from recycled, reusable, or biodegradable materials.
