ANANTNAG, July 14 -- A 60 year old woman from South Kashmir's Anantnag district had tested positive for coronavirus after her death however her family contested the official claim and said the deceased wasn't sampled for COVID-19.

Deceased, Raja Begum, a resident of Sarnal Anantnag, was admitted in Government Medical College Anantnag last Friday with respiratory issues.

"Oxygen level of mother (deceased woman) were low so we decided to admit her at GMC Anantnag," Mohd Iqbal Najar, deceased lady's son told Early Times, adding her mother was treated for over 24 hours in the hospital and she died on Saturday (11th of July).
