SAMBA, Jan. 31 -- Continuing its crackdown on drug smuggling, Samba Police has arrested two drug peddlers including a woman and recovered approximately 13.20 grams heroin like substance (Chitta) from their possession in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana.
A police team of Police Station Bari Brahmana while performing naka duty near NHW Sarore Adda, signalled to stop an auto-rickshaw bearing registration No. JK02DM-6135 for its checking which was coming from Sarore side. On seeing the naka party, the driver of the vehicle tried to flee away from the spot. But the alert cops successfully intercepted the said auto-rickshaw near JDA Park.
