The Rural Development Department (RDD) is in news for bad reasons. Several work supervisors have been promoted as JEs in violation of rules.
According to sources some officials in RDD acquired three year diploma in civil Engineering during their service from private institutions. "These diplomas are not authentic as the RDD did not permit them officially to undergone the course. They were not on study leave as the same is not entered in their service books," the sources said.
