SRINAGAR, Jan. 8 -- The COVID-19 recovery rate in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir reached 96.60 percent as 278 virus affected patients recovered today. With 127 new cases the number of positive cases reached 1, 22,303; death toll reached 1907 following four fresh deaths.
Jammu district reported 48 new cases of virus followed by Srinagar district 22 cases, Samba district 10 cases, Udhampur district six cases, Baramulla, Kupwara, Rajouri and Doda districts reported five cases each, Budgam, Pulwama and Kathua districts four cases each, Poonch district three cases, Ramban and Reasi districts two cases each and Bandipora & Ganderbal districts one case each.
