SRINAGAR, Jan. 15 -- Following 179 more recoveries the COVID-19 recovery rate in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir reached 97.28 percent. With 144 new cases the positive cases reached 1, 23,108; the death toll reached 1920 following five fresh deaths.
Jammu district reported 46 fresh cases of Corona Virus followed by Srinagar district 40 cases, Ganderbal district 10 cases, Shopian and Samba districts nine cases each, Anantnag district six cases, Ramban district five cases, Pulwama, Kupwara and Kulgam districts three cases each, Baramulla, Budgam, Bandipora and Udhampur districts two cases each and Kathua & Poonch districts one case each. No case was reported from Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar and Reasi districts.
