SRINAGAR, March 10 -- The week-long wet spell started in Kashmir on Monday as rains lashed various parts of the valley including Srinagar.

The Meteorological Centre Srinagar Monday said wet weather is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir till the weekend.

It predicted intermittent light to moderate rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

The weather is likely to remain cloudy today with the possibility of intermittent light to moderate rain or now at many places with moderate snowfall over higher reaches of Kupwara, Bandipora and Ganderbal .
