Jammu, April 7 -- During Union Home Minister Amit Shah's three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, a significant political shift is unfolding as separatist leaders continue to distance themselves from the Hurriyat Conference and pledge allegiance to India's Constitution.

In the latest development, Bashir Ahmad Andrabi, leader of the Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF), formally severed ties with the Hurriyat Conference. In a written statement, Andrabi declared his organization's complete dissociation from the separatist politics of the Hurriyat, emphasizing that the group has failed to address the people's true interests. He also warned of legal action against anyone attempting to associate him or his party with the Hurriyat.
