JAMMU, April 20 -- Prominent political leader Vivek Bali today expressed deep concern over the severe damage caused to apple orchards in South Kashmir by a sudden and destructive hailstorm. The untimely calamity has badly affected crops in their early growth stage, leaving hundreds of fruit growers devastated.

Vivek Bali, who has been consistently advocating for the welfare of farmers and horticulturists in the region, has urged the government to immediately dispatch assessment teams to the affected areas and announce a comprehensive relief package.
