KISHTWAR, May 11 -- At a time when the whole country is battling to fight the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, the ventilators, ICU beds, Cardiac monitors are lying defunct at District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar due to lack of medical staff in the hospital.
According to reliable information, 16 ventilators, 20 ICU beds, 34 Cardiac monitors, 2 Defibrillator and other medical equipments are lying defunct in District Hospital Kishtwar due to lack of manpower as result of which the people suffering from critical COVID 19 complications could not be properly attended at Kishtwar hospital and was forced shift to Jammu or Srinagar Medical Colleges which are already over burdened with the COVID 19 patients.
