JAMMU, March 28 -- Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu organized the Annual Workshop of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) to finalize the Action Plan for the year 2025-26. The workshop, aimed at strengthening extension services, farmer capacity building and research-extension linkages was inaugurated by Prof. B.N. Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Tripathi emphasized the critical role of KVKs in bridging the gap between research and farmers, ensuring technology transfer for improved agricultural productivity and income generation. He urged KVKs to enhance their outreach programs and work in close collaboration with farming communities.
