RAJOURI, March 17 -- In a significant step towards green campus initiatives, Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), launched a Plantation Drive on the university campus today. The initiative aims to enhance the green cover, promote ecological balance, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility among students and faculty members.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Jawaid Iqbal emphasized the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and maintaining biodiversity. He urged students , faculty and staff to actively participate in such initiatives to ensure a cleaner and greener future.
