JAMMU, June 20 -- Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today asserted that the upcoming hydro electric power projects being initiated by Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) would be a major step towards energy self-sufficiency, economic upliftment, and overall development of the Union Territory. He said the initiative reflects the government's commitment to harnessing the untapped hydro potential of the region in a structured and transparent manner.
