Jammu, March 3 -- The principal opposition party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has expressed satisfaction over Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's address to the first budget session of the newly formed National Conference-led government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Leader of Opposition and MLA from Nagani-Paddar, Sunil Sharma, said that 71 points mentioned in the LG's address are nothing but an endorsement of the visionary policies of the BJP-led government at the Centre.
"Contentious issues like the restoration of Article 370 and Article 35-A, which the ruling party promised during elections, are conspicuously missing from the LG's address," Sharma pointed out.
