Udhampur, May 2 -- In a sustained and aggressive drive against drug trafficking, Udhampur Police has recorded major achievements in the first quarter of 2025. Between January and April, the district police registered 34 cases under the NDPS and PIT NDPS/PSA Acts, arresting 52 individuals involved in drug-related activities. As part of this crackdown, authorities seized narcotics valued at Rs 1.64 crore and confiscated 13 vehicles believed to be used for drug transportation. Additionally, four pharmacy shops were sealed for violations related to the sale of H1 category drugs.
