UDHAMPUR, Feb. 8 -- Director Sericulture J&K, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat along with Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai inaugurated a one-day Resham Kissan Mela here today.
The event was aimed at promoting sericulture techniques and creating awareness among farmers about various government schemes. More than 200 farmers from six districts of Jammu Division actively participated in the mela.
Additional Director Sericulture Jammu, Ashwani Sharma, District Sericulture Officers from six districts of Jammu Division, Scientist from Central Silk board and a large number of farmers from different districts attended the festival.
