JAMMU, Feb. 5 -- Tawi Welfare Society expresses serious concern over the continuing uncertainty and growing discontent surrounding the issue of the proposed Law University in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The matter, if not addressed urgently and sensibly, carries the potential to escalate into widespread resentment and large-scale agitation, both from Jammu as well as Kashmir.
The Society strongly believes that before the issue takes an ugly turn or leads to mass protests, an amicable, inclusive and forward-looking solution must be evolved by the Central Government.
