JAMMU, Feb. 4 -- In a major breakthrough, Jammu Police have successfully solved two kidnapping cases, rescuing the victims and apprehending the accused in the Domana area. The first case was reported on January 19, 2025, when a woman from Jammu lodged a complaint at Police Station Domana. She alleged that Sonu Kumar, son of Babu Ram, originally from Nabyua Kallan, Uttar Pradesh, and currently residing in Greater Kailash, Jammu, had kidnapped her 16/17-year-old daughter (name withheld) from their home. Following the complaint, an FIR No. 20/2025 under Section 137(2) BNS was registered, and an investigation was launched.
