Udhampur, Feb. 21 -- In a continued crackdown against drug trafficking, Udhampur Police arrested two drug peddlers in separate incidents.
Police team of PP Sudhmahadev while performing patrolling at Pathyal Morh, Sudhmahadev, police team apprehended Imran Khan S/O Mohd Lateef R/O Kossar, Tehsil Chenani, District Udhampur after he tried to conceal himself on seeing the police party.
On search, 06.20 grams of heroin-like contraband was recovered from his possession.
FIR No. 31/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Chenani and investigation is underway.
