JAMMU, July 27 -- In its ongoing efforts to curb the illegal sale and use of banned nylon thread (Gattu), which poses serious hazards to public safety and the environment, Police Station Pacca Danga has successfully apprehended two individuals in separate operations. In the first case, Vishushant Kuril S/o Anil Gupta Kuril R/o H. No. 292-F, Hari Singh Nagar, Pacca Danga, Jammu, was arrested and 09 rolls of banned nylon thread were recovered from his possession in connection with FIR No. 84/2025 U/S 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
