JAMMU, Jan. 30 -- As part of the ongoing Road Safety Month, Transport Commissioner J&K Vishesh Paul Mahajan inaugurated a road safety awareness program at Warehouse Jammu to promote responsible driving and minimize accidents. The Transport Commissioner was accompanied by Regional Transport Officer Jammu Pankaj Bhagotra, ARTOs, officials from MVD and representatives from several Transport unions.
Speaking on the occasion, the Transport Commissioner emphasized that road safety is not just a one-day affair but a lifelong commitment. He stated, "Every day should be observed as Road Safety Day and following traffic rules, staying vigilant, and promoting responsible driving should be part of our daily routine, not just during special campaigns."...
