DODA, Feb. 4 -- A training session on the Integrated Road Accident Database (iRAD) Project was conducted today at the conference hall of the DC office complex Doda.

The iRAD project, an initiative of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and funded by the World Bank, aims to enhance road safety across the country. The project involves creating an accurate and uniform system for collecting road accident data through a mobile and web application developed specifically for this purpose.

The iRAD application facilitates data collection from four key stakeholder departments: Police, Transport, Highways, and Health.

The collected data will be analyzed using various techniques to identify accident-prone areas and causes.
