Srinagar, Dec. 6 -- Traffic was resumed on Friday morning partially after remaining suspended for ten hours due to landslides on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, the only road linking Kashmir valley with the rest of the country.

Stranded passenger vehicles were allowed to move towards their respective destinations while trucks carrying essentials were allowed to leave for Kashmir. No vehicle was allowed from Srinagar to Jammu today.

Meanwhile, historic 86-km-long Mughal road remained closed since November 6 due to accumulation of snow and slippery road conditions.
