Srinagar, June 18 -- In yet another case of nepotism, the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department has floated norms in allotment of prized Zabarwan Park food court and other service units to a private party.
Official documents available with Early Times reveal that the prized property was allotted to a person without holding auction as per norms.
"Zabarwan Park Food Court has been allotted to Firdous Ahmad Bhat s/o Sanaullah Bhat R/o Watapora Payeen, Bandipora," the allotment order reads.
Documents reveal that Zabarwan Park Food Court was allotted to the said person vide letter No Estate30-B/DTK/113 dated 13.05.2019 after he filed an application before the Director Toursim Kashmir for managing the services units in Zabarwan Park.
