Jammu, July 12 -- Protesting against the imposition of 1 percent additional stamp duty on sale/purchase of immovable property by Jammu Municipal Corporation, Team Mask Force (TMF) has expressed anguish over the manner BJP powered JMC has taxed already down trodden people of Jammu under the ambit of JMC.
Chairman Vijay Sharma appealed MOS in PMO office Dr Jitender Singh to intervene and ensure the withdrawal of additional cess of 1% in addition to already existing stamp duty in force in JK UT. Earlier central Govt had ordered the establishment of Toll Plazas for which protests were lodged to avoid calling City of Temples as city of Plazas.
