JAMMU, May 22 -- The Government Railway Police (GRP) Jammu has successfully registered three cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act within the last five days, seizing narcotics worth approximately Rs. 5.5 lakhs. On May 21, 2025, GRP Jammu recovered over 5 kilograms of a ganja-like substance from accused Rajeev Kumar, son of Ramayan Singh, a resident of Berwa, Muzaffarpur, Bihar, currently residing in Govindsar Kathua. The seizure took place at Jammu Railway Station. Earlier, on May 16, 2025, another ganja-like substance was seized at Bari Brahmana Railway Station from accused Changori Kumar, son of Paco Singh, a resident of Koila Khagaria, Bihar.
