Anantnag, March 7 -- Female students of a government school in this South Kashmir district today accused their teachers of insulting them by restoring to abusive behavior and name-calling.

The female students along with the parents held a protest demonstration against the teachers inside Deputy Commissioner's Office and sought 'stringent' action against the teachers.

"They (teachers) resort to name-calling and threaten us of not allowing us to sit in annual examinations with regular batch," a female student told media. She alleged that the teachers were leveling baseless allegations against female students and were restoring to abusive behavior.
