SRINAGAR, Sept. 8 -- In order to review the progress towards Tuberculosis-Free Srinagar under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in the district and assess the measures taken to achieve the goal of a TB Free status, a meeting of District TB Control Society was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar Akshay Labroo (Chairman District TB Control Society) here on Monday at meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.
At the outset, DC took a Medical Zone/Block wise appraisal of key performance indicators including, TB notification rates, early detection and treatment adherence, implementation of Ni-Kshay Mitra initiative aimed to provide additional patient support to improve treatment outcomes of TB patients.
