JAMMU, Jan. 21 -- On the request of Tawi Welfare Society, Ansuya Jamwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, today visited the Nikki Tawi Bridge and Government High School Suray Chak to assess the damages caused by the floods in August last year.

During the visit, the ADC inspected the damaged approach of Nikki Tawi Bridge and the flood-affected infrastructure of Government High School Suray Chak, which have remained vulnerable since the natural calamity. After taking stock of the situation on the ground, she assured the volunteers of Tawi Welfare Society that the administration would take up the necessary repair and restoration works at these vulnerable points at the earliest.
