Jammu, Jan. 13 -- Officials said the action reflects Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's sustained push to uproot the terror ecosystem and its infrastructure within government institutions. Since 2021, more than 85 employees have been dismissed for terror links as part of a broader strategy to cleanse the system of sleeper operatives planted over decades.
Security sources said these individuals were strategically embedded within government departments by terror outfits and Pakistan's ISI to weaken institutions from within and compromise national security. "They were time bombs waiting to be activated," a senior security official said.
