JAMMU, Jan. 3 -- Jammu Police conducted a routine checking drive as part of its continued efforts to enforce food safety norms and protect public health.
During the inspection, non-vegetarian food items were found being transported in a vehicle lacking mandatory insulation, constituting a serious violation of prescribed food safety standards. Taking immediate cognizance of the lapse, the Food Safety Designated Officer was called to the spot for on-site inspection and initiation of legal action as per established procedures.
