Jammu, June 24 -- Taking cognizance of a disturbing video circulating on social media, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu has ordered an enquiry into the public parade of a suspected thief, who was seen tied to the bonnet of a vehicle reportedly belonging to the police.
The viral video shows the individual, allegedly a theft suspect, being paraded through public areas while bound to the bonnet of a moving police vehicle. The incident is said to have occurred under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar Police Station, raising serious concerns over procedural lapses and violation of human rights.
