Akhnoor, March 15 -- In a significant step towards improving power infrastructure, BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member Pandit Suresh Sharma inaugurated a 63 KVA transformer in Beyal Mohalla, Panchayat Choura, Block Chowki Choura. Installed at a cost of Rs.6.50 lakh, this transformer fulfills a long-pending demand of the local residents, who had been struggling with frequent low-voltage issues. During a Janta Darbar held in the Panchayat, the residents had voiced their grievances regarding the electricity supply.
