JAMMU, April 6 -- In a continued effort to combat vehicle thefts, Jammu Police recovered a stolen scooty and motorcycle in the Akhnoor area, leading to the arrest of one accused. The operation was led by Inspector Rohit Gandhi, SHO Police Station Akhnoor.
The investigation began after Rahul Kumar, son of Randev Kumar, a resident of Pull Chandian, Tehsil Akhnoor, lodged a complaint regarding the theft of his scooty. Acting promptly, Police Station Akhnoor registered FIR No. 59/2025 under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
