Kishtwar, June 11 -- The annual and sacred Charri Chandi Yatra (Mindal) commenced with great devotion and enthusiasm from Sarkoot Mandir, Kishtwar. The yatra was ceremoniously flagged off by Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar, Shri Naresh Singh-JKPS, in the presence of Yatra organisers, police officers, and a large gathering of devotees.
Devotees from different parts of the district gathered at the Mandir to witness the auspicious beginning of this spiritually significant pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Chandi Mata Mandir at Mindal, located in Pangi (Himachal Pradesh). The atmosphere was filled with chants of "Jai Mata Di" as yatris embarked on their journey with immense devotion and spiritual fervour.
