Jammu, June 15 -- o ensure safe, pleasant and comfortable journey along with better rail services to the rail passengers, special and intensive ticket checking campaigns are conducted against the passengers traveling without ticket, irregular ticket in Jammu Division of Northern Railway.
Under this campaign, today on 15 June 2025, Chief Ticket Inspector Mr. Tarsem Lal and CCTC Vimal Kumar conducted a special ticket checking campaign in train number 22478 from Jammu to Ludhiana under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Vivek Kumar and under the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Uchit Singhal in Jammu Division.
Under this campaign, 21 passengers were charged and about Rs 55,430 was collected as fine.
