DODA, March 10 -- National Deworming Day was observed across all health facilities in District Doda today. The events were organized under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer and the supervision of Block Medical Officers.
On this occasion, special deworming sessions were conducted in schools, health facilities, and Anganwadi centers, where children and adolescents aged 1 to 19 years were administered deworming tablets free of cost. The initiative aimed to combat parasitic infections, prevent malnutrition, and improve overall health among children.
