JAMMU, Feb. 6 -- On the directions of SSP Jammu, SP South Jammu conducted a review meeting with Village Defence Guards (VDGs) at Phallian Mandal to assess the existing security grid, review preparedness, strengthen inter-agency coordination and boost the morale of VDGs, who continue to serve as the first line of defence in border and vulnerable areas along the International Border (IB), including areas with a history of drone dropping incidents including drug droppings.
