Jammu, Dec. 16 -- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has taken another important step toward strengthening research in women's health with the approval of a sponsored research project worth Rs 20 lakh by the Jammu & Kashmir Science, Technology & Innovation Council (JKST&IC), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Jammu & Kashmir. The project has been sanctioned under the Sponsored Research and Extension Programme (SREP) 2025-26 for a period of two years.

The project will be led by Dr. Indu Bhushan, Associate Professor, School of Biotechnology, SMVDU, as the Principal Investigator.
