JAMMU, Feb. 5 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir unit has demanded ban on disposable paper cups in view of the possibility of fatal diseases like cancer.

In a press conference held today at the party's state central office, state chief Manish Sahni said that the trend of consuming tea and other hot beverages in disposable paper cups is increasing.

Today, tea, coffee and other hot beverages are served in disposable cups made of paper at railway stations, airports, hospitals and other places.
