JAMMU, Feb. 15 -- Today, The exposure visit organized by BIS Jammu and Kashmir Branch Office for the students of Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jammu took place at Kashmir Rolling Steel Mills in Bari Brahmana, Jammu. The main aim of the visit was to make students aware of the importance of quality and familiarize them with a BIS-certified manufacturing unit.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to visit the industry and understand the role of BIS in safeguarding consumer rights through standards and conformity assessment.
