GANDERBAL, May 16 -- A meeting to review the functioning of front offices, Village Legal Care & Support Centres and Legal Aid Clinics was today held in District Ganderbal.
The meeting, chaired by Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal, also assessed the effectiveness of Adhikar Mitras or Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) in delivering legal services to the community.
During the meeting, Secretary, DLSA emphasized to ensure timely provision of free legal aid to every needy person, as and when required, to make sure that no person remains unaware of Government schemes and benefits.
