SAMBA, Dec. 31 -- Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and recovered approximately 9.80 grams heroin-like substance (chitta) from his possession.
Acting on specific information received from reliable sources, a Police team of Police Post Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba during special Naka near Basantar Bridge, intercepted a pedestrian moving suspiciously from Rakh Barotain towards Samba via border road. During frisking, approximately 9.80 grams heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of said person.
