Samba, June 24 -- Continuing its drive against bovine smugglers and their propagators, Samba Police has successfully foiled two bovines smuggling attempts in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Ghagwal and Samba, arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued nine bovines from the clutches of bovine smugglers. The vehicles used in the illegal transportation of bovines were also seized.
Police teams of BPP Babber Nallah and PP Rajpura of PS Ghagwal during vehicle checking at Naka Babber Nallah, signaled to stop a Tata mobile bearing registration No. HP73-3144 coming via border road for its checking. The alert cops successfully intercepted the vehicle and arrested the driver of the said vehicle.
