SAMBA, Jan. 22 -- Samba Police has achieved a major breakthrough by busting a gang involved in bovine theft, arresting three accused persons, recovering six stolen cattle and seizing three vehicles used in the commission of the crimes. The police has successfully worked out five cattle theft cases registered across different police stations in the district.
On 19-01-2026, a case FIR No. 19/2026 under relevant sections of law was registered at PS Samba regarding theft of 02 cows from Dhagore area tehsil & district Samba.
Earlier, on 04-01-2026, two FIRs viz FIR No. 11/2026 U/S 331(4) 305 BNS of cattle theft and FIR No. 12/2026 U/S 303(2) BNS of theft of Bolero vehicle bearing registration No. HP19-4416. were registered at Police Station Sa...
