SAMBA, June 10 -- Taking stringent action against notorious drug peddlers/smugglers involved in illicit narcotics trade, Samba Police has booked a notorious drug peddler under Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PITNDPS) Act for his continues involvement in spreading drug menace in the area and lodged him in the Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.
The notorious drug peddler detained under PITNDPS Act has been identified as Sham Din @Shama S/o Mureed Ali R/o Gujjar Basti Sarore Adda tehsil Bari Brahmana district Samba.
